Swing Set!

We decided this would be the perfect year to get the girls a swing set! (it is the girls' Birthday gift from us and Grandma & Papa) I found one I really, really, really liked back in January at Costco, but decided to wait until this spring to actually purchase it. Oops...learned my lesson on that one. They were all sold out when Jeff went to get it. I guess some guy came and bought 6 and wiped them out. Who does that?

Anyway...I had to settle for my second choice, but it's still a really nice swing set. My dad and Jeff did all of the heavy work and I was their "parts girl" and pulled all of the necessary parts ahead of time for each step. My mom was nice enough to watch the girls while we all were outside building. However, there were times that the girls wanted to add their elbow grease and help too!

Watch out Alexis...Anna is coming through!

After all of that heavy lifting, it's time for a break!

Here are the parts Papa!

I think it's this one Grandma!

Hmm, this works out as a nice seat too!

The finished product! YAY!

We replaced the middle trapeez bar with a 3rd swing about a week after having it built because when one swings, they must ALL swing! :) Thanks for all of your help Grandma and Papa!

Frogs & Bubbles

Ava L.O.V.E.S frogs. She loves frog pictures, frog stickers, frog stuffed animals, frogs on tv, frogs at the zoo, frogs on plates and cups and any other kind of decoration. So when Jeff caught a toad and then later a little tree frog in the same day....She was SO excited. Anna and Alexis thought it was pretty cool too.

The 2nd part of the video shows the girls blowing bubbles! Enjoy!

Easter 2010

Easter morning we got up and the girls got to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them in their baskets.

Then we went to church with the family. Before leaving though, we saw our neighbors Bryce and Teagan searching for eggs, so they came over for a quick photo.

After church, the girls were all excited to show Grandma and Papa what the Easter Bunny had brought them. Here are a few pics I snapped when we got to their house.
