And because they just can't seem to get enough window time...here are the monkeys looking at the neighbors. You can even see little Bryce across the street, which is who they were waving to. Silly monkeys!

I love to be outside. Working in the yard (didn't happen last year, although I hope to get some moments this year) or just relaxing, I just love to enjoy the fresh air. Well, I'm pretty sure the girls love to be outside just as much, although with the three of them running in different directions, it's pretty challenging (and a bit nerve-wrecking) to be outside with them by myself. The are "pretty" good at listening, but that just means they hear me say no, will turn around and then attempt to do whatever it is I told them to stop. Usually this is running towards the sidewalk and then running all over the yard (separately of course). Oh and if you don't know, our entire backyard is along the street since our front yard is on a half cul-de-sac so let's just say we have A LOT of street view. Well, as I mentioned, this is a bit scary as I don't want them running into the street or even falling too hard on the sidewalk. So I had the GENIUS idea to buy a screened in tent for us to enjoy being outside but with a little bit of help. So far the girls love it and so do I.
Now when Jeff is home then he helps baby wrangle and the girls can run all around the yard and play, but for extended periods of time, this gets pretty tiring, so I'm glad we can enjoy the fresh air and still have some sense of safety. One day maybe we'll get a fence and that will ease our minds even more.
Here are a few pics from our first afternoon playing in the new tent on Saturday!
Saturday was a beautiful Ohio day and after Jeff finished mowing the yard we were all able to enjoy the weather and relax outside. Sunday was a bit rainy again, so while Jeff watched the girls and fed them breakfast and lunch, I was able to clean the house...err bathrooms. (ok, so I spent 3 hours on just bathrooms...let's just say I'm OCD and it's the longest I've EVER let our bathrooms go between cleanings and I wanted to make the grout look brand new....I have to say...it kinda does. :) I washed some windows that 30 little fingers like to make pretty and then our dear friends, The Butlers, stopped by for a quick, but really nice visit before they headed home to NW Ohio. By then it was dinner time and bed time and Whew! Sunday went by quick! Today instead of blogging, I need to be cleaning the kitchen and floor and finish vacuuming, but instead I'm providing YOU with updates and pictures. :) Hope you all had a great weekend too!
I know I haven't been very good about updates lately, so I thought I would share a few fun pics from the past few weeks.
First ride in Grandpa's golf cart!
Anna and Ava just giggled the whole time as the cool air hit their face. Alexis smiled and loved it too!
The girls are funny when they change clothes. They pose when I leave their shirts on like this.
Then you gotta love the crazy hair that follows!
As soon as you ask Ava if she's ready to take her shirt off, she starts pulling and helping, so it's hard to get her to leave it on her head long enough for a picture. That's why I don't have one of her.
The girls all know to point to their belly when I ask them, but it's funny to see them point at each other's belly's too.
This is Alexis pointing to Anna's belly.
And then Alexis showing us exactly where Anna's belly is. :)

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We got up and went to church to celebrate this great day. Then we headed to my parents for Easter dinner, which was scrumptious! We had a mini egg hunt in their front yard and the girls didn't quite get the concept of putting the eggs in their basket. Rather, they liked walking around picking them up and dropping eggs when they found new favorites. I didn't get any great pics of the girls in their dresses, but this will have to do. I guess it doesn't matter since they got all wrinkled the minute they were buckled in to ride to church. Why did I think I needed to iron them? Oh well! Happy Easter!
Anna examining which egg is her favorite...but it's hard to tell since she wouldn't keep her bow in and can barely see through her hair!
Ava posing inside after the hunt.
Alexis trying to decide how to hold 3 eggs!
One of my favorites. Look how long Ava's hair is getting!

The girls are now 1 year + 1 month old or 13 months or 1.1 as I say. I can't believe a month has already passed since their first birthday. This just means we are officially on our way to TWO! :)
L-R Anna, Alexis--doing "touchdown" & Ava
Let's see, what are they up to?
I think one of my favorite things they do right now is stand on their PBK chairs and look out the corner windows and wave to the neighbors, mail truck, garbage truck, walkers, pretty much anything outside. You can tell them to go look outside and they immediately walk/run over to the corner and hop on top of the chairs and start looking outside and waving or looking for whatever it is you wanted them to see. If you drive by the house and see a tiny head (or 2 or 3) peeking out the windows, now you know why!
Here's a pic of them scoping out the neighborhood!
Alexis showing how she likes to wave to the neighbors even though she is looking towards the back yard through that window. :)
and if you were curious what you would see if you were one of our neighbors walking by...
3 silly little monkeys who love to stand on the windowsill!
(now don't think I was a bad mom...I was right behind them crouching down holding their ankles while Jeff took that shot from outside.)
I love this next one because of how Anna is looking at me taking the picture, Alexis is so happy she is standing on top of the chair while Daddy holds her and Ava is smiling at a neighbor (who you obviously can't see just yet) walking towards her. Gosh I love these girls! Happy 1.1 girls!
side note: Per my previous post, I've been REALLY sick this past week, so I don't really have any other updates besides, I'm glad to be alive and finally eating food again! I can't remember the last time I had the stomach flu like this....GEESH! Thanks to my mom for taking care of the girls on Tuesday and Thursday, Jeff for taking off Wednesday from work and my dad for stopping by every day to make sure I had sprite and food if I wanted it...I didn't until today. Anyway, thanks for all of your help...no way I could have done it without all of you!
